What personal data we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide.

  • Name (required)
  • Phone number (required)
  • Service you are enquiring about (optional)
  • Car registration (optional)
  • Your message (optional)

If you include a car registration, we use the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service API to retrieve vehicle details (such as make, fuel type, and MOT status/expiry).

We also temporarily process your IP address for rate limiting purposes. This is held in server memory only and is not stored persistently.

Why we collect your data and our legal basis

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry. Our legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest — you have contacted us requesting a response, and we need your details to do so.

Who we share your data with

When you submit the contact form, your details are stored in our database and sent to us via Telegram, a third-party messaging service. Telegram processes your data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We also use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that form submissions are genuine. Cloudflare processes limited technical data in accordance with its privacy policy. Apart from Telegram and Cloudflare, we do not share your data with any other third parties.

How long we keep your data

Your enquiry details are stored in our database and retained in our Telegram message history for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

This website does not set any first-party cookies.

We also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot detection service, on our contact form. Cloudflare may set third-party cookies through this widget. For more information, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data
